My name is Lauren, and I live in the bubble. I am wife to Marshall, the biggest BYU fan in the world; and mother to Carly, our big girl, and Wes, our wild man, and Calvin, our new addition. I graduated BYU with a degree in Social Work, and I went forth to serve at LDS Family Services. I like scrapbooking and going out to eat at nice restaurants. I am fascinated by new cleaning products at the grocery store, so I have to shop in wide circles around the perimeter to avoid the temptation to buy. I love chocolate.

Hole in the wall

We have a hole in our wall that just calls to our kids. It must be so irresistible. It's the intake vent in the hallway. Its big, and kid height, and has lots of slots.

I never considered, however, that they would actually be putting things all the way into the hole. Until last week, when I discovered my wallet- completely empty. I asked Carly where all my cards went. She said, "Umm, in the hole in the wall."

Oh no!

A socket wrench and an hour later, I was looking inside the hole in the wall for the first time. It was amazing the treasures it held! (aside from the furry dust....I don't even want to think about that...)

Probably the best find was our Up DVD. We rented up from Redbox like a year ago. And it mysteriously vanished before we could ever return it. Marshall has since blamed me, repeatedly bringing up how I lost a DVD into thin air.

And there it was. Carly had shoved it into the wall.

So from now on, whenever something is missing, we may just look in the wall first!
