My name is Lauren, and I live in the bubble. I am wife to Marshall, the biggest BYU fan in the world; and mother to Carly, our big girl, and Wes, our wild man, and Calvin, our new addition. I graduated BYU with a degree in Social Work, and I went forth to serve at LDS Family Services. I like scrapbooking and going out to eat at nice restaurants. I am fascinated by new cleaning products at the grocery store, so I have to shop in wide circles around the perimeter to avoid the temptation to buy. I love chocolate.

Hitchhiker

Today I picked up a hitchhiker. Marshall said later that I was stupid and crazy for "doing something so dangerous." But the lady was, like, 50 and limping with an obviously broken foot, carrying 5 bags of groceries while smoking. Quite the sight. I would normally never consider letting a stranger in my car, but she was just so sad looking I felt compelled to stop. Plus, even though I'm not in the best shape myself, I was fairly sure I could take her in a fight.

Next time, tell her you can only give a ride to either her or her cigarette, not both.

OMG. I am glad you didn't have to take out an old lady. I have thought about that before because one time before i had Brynna a lady asked me for a ride and I gave her one. but now with Brynna its so much scarier.
