My name is Lauren, and I live in the bubble. I am wife to Marshall, the biggest BYU fan in the world; and mother to Carly, our big girl, and Wes, our wild man, and Calvin, our new addition. I graduated BYU with a degree in Social Work, and I went forth to serve at LDS Family Services. I like scrapbooking and going out to eat at nice restaurants. I am fascinated by new cleaning products at the grocery store, so I have to shop in wide circles around the perimeter to avoid the temptation to buy. I love chocolate.

Silly Boy

So when I got out of the shower this morning, I heard a sawing noise. I stood still for a minute trying to determine which neighbors were doing light construction (yes, our walls are that thin), when I realized the sawing was coming from my own hallway. I opened the door to see a guilty looking Marshall standing next to our linens/games cupboard. He had a hacksaw in his hand. When I finally get him to tell me what he is doing, I discover that my dear, sweet husband has been trying to wrestle the monopoly game out of the cupboard (you have to turn it diagonally to get it to fit). But, failing in his attemps, he decided the next logical step would be to simply saw through the wood frame of the cupboard to make it big enough to get the game out. Luckily I stopped him (and got the game out) before he did enough damage that the landlord would notice. But this makes me seriously question his critical thinking abilities.

I think it's because he is a fireman. He is used to using saws to solve problems.

Does Marshall have his tote 'n chit?

Ronnie- I have no idea what that means!

It's what you have to have in boy scouts before they let you chop wood.

I like Marshall because he solves problems the same as I do.

When I was 7(ish), my brother and I came home from school to find that we were locked out of the house and that no one was home. So, when we found a can of paint thinner on the back porch, we immediately solved the problem: We could just burn the back door down and then go in!

(And then, just like Lauren would do, my parents go home and stopped us before we could find matches.)
